Wrapping up 2013

Waiting on my Certificate of Eligibility, and next month I submit a tax form to the IRS to tell them I will be out of the country for a year.

Meanwhile I had to tell everyone to keep gifts to a minimum since I won't be able to take them with me unless they are useful for my life in Japan (like the Crocs my sister got me for indoor shoes! :D). I've also been contemplating what I need to get/pack, such as summer wardrobe, shampoo and antiperspirant, which shoes to take, do I bring any stuffed animals (leaning towards yes), how am I transporting my 9x12 tablet and laptop... I get 115 pounds to take with me, and it's pertinent to mention that as an artist, paper is heavy!

Update.

So, crap happened. I had to give up the job and Japan all because I uploaded the wrong file and my professor wouldn't accept the correct one, even with huge point docking. I "failed" the class with a C- and didn't get my major credits, and thus did not graduate.

As it stands now, I walk this coming Saturday and in theory I'll have passed everything, and she'll have signed off on my one elective, rendering me actually eligible for my degree. Let's hope she does it, since grades aren't my problem otherwise.
And I turned in the correct file this time. I made sure of it by naming it, "YOU WILL UPLOAD THIS FOR ME HUNTSMAN.docx" *obvious Snow White reference is obvious* and then after uploading it I verified that it was the correct document. So, won't be having that screw up this time.

As for the boyfriend... We broke up a few weeks ago because we were at the point of hating each other, and staying friends was more important. Now I don't have that hanging over my head regarding my decision making.

Further, my best friend is once again stationed in Okinawa so she'll be only a plane ride away. :3

Once again things are hopeful.
